Awesome - 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet

Hello 49 and Market Fans, meet my sweet, gorgeous grand daughter Rivah and her "baby" Rosie. I knew this was a perfect photo for Spectrum Sherbet range especially with the clothes that Rosie has on, bright and funky like the papers.

I have started with the Brumbleberry paper in the background with the gorgeous yellow to pink colours.

I have then added Painted Foundations paper Rainbow in the form of a circle shape with tags in the background.

On the right hand side I have used one of the 6x8 papers adding another layer along with ephemera and laser cut pieces.

The word "awesome" I have used as the title is from the Chipboard word pack. Layered more and more with ephemera pieces and laser cuts at the bottom of the photo with the lace laser cut.

I have finished off my page with pieces from the chipboard shape set, Passion Pink flowers and an array of different rub ons from the 6x8 Palettes and Strawberry Lemonade packs.

A small Glimpse of Life - 49 and Market - ARToptions Viken

Hello 49 and Market Fans, today I am on the blog with these gorgeous photos of my grand babies taken at Yanchep National Park.  My daughter in law was at a photo shoot with her sister and nephew. While the photographer took her Sister and nephews photos my DIL kept the kids busy and got these amazing snaps of them.

I started with the dark purplish blue journal card from the ephemera pack and put it through a cuttlebug embossing folder then using a sanding block sand the pattern to show.

I also cut a decorative lace piece and doily from ephemera bits along with some leaves and a flourish.

I have added a rub on to a clear piece of acetate to make a 3d butterfly on top of the layered arrow ephemera bits.

In the background I added lots of rub ons from the 6x8 and 12x12 packs of the flowers, leaves and butterflies. Layering all of the embellishments with foam tape inbetween to give the page some depth.

To finish off I have added white heron flowers and acetate leaves along with the smaller photo inside one of the cute little frames.

Thank you for popping over to the blog today.

Sweet - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans, today I share a layout done of my gorgeous little grand daughter in her loved butterfly fur coat which made choosing the butterfly ARToptions Avesta range.

I have started by adding some of the Fabric tape onto the background paper.  To frame the photograph I have used two pieces of the 6x8 paper pack, first the pink as a photo mat and the second the gorgeous green paper to which I have added the Essentials Stitch washi set to look like messy stitching.

The lower right hand corner cluster is made from the tag set which come with the eyelets and string already done for you. plus ephemera and laser cut pieces which have the cute little butterflies.

The chipboard pieces have been used at the top right to form little arrows and the "Sweet" circle cluster which is the title of my layout.

To make the flower cluster I have used Ballet Slipper and Tutti Fruiti colours along with leaves and of my own little die cut white sprigs.

Finally to finish my page I have added pink prills to the centre of the flowers and around the page in little clusters.

Hope you have loved my page as much I enjoyed creating it.

Blessed - Dusty Attic - June Mood Board inspiration

Hello Dusty FANattics

Today I have a layout of my gorgeous little grand daughter taken last year at the park across the road, just sitting playing with the leaves quite happily.

Although I started off with the Dusty Attic June mood board my layout took me into a different direction as I added greens, blues and yellows to my page below.

I started off by slicing the large Park tree in half and using this on the left hand side of my page (and now I have another half for another layout)  I have painted the Tree with brown on the  trunk and branches and then the grass and leaves section with green, when it was completely dry  inked some brown ink over the top to add texture, I have painted the Autumn leaves the same way.

Using the 49 and Market Curators Botanical range allowed me to connect the tree over to the photograph using the fence rub on then follow the layout upwards to add the Heart strings heart and large butterfly to the top of the page.

The word "Blessed" is from Word pack #45 and is perfect for the way I feel about both of my grandchildren. I have sponged this with the same green as the tree but added a yellow ink over the top to add highlights.

To finish off my page I have added a mini heart button in white and three cute little mini butterflies in yellow,

Remember you can purchase any of the Dusty Attic chipboard from the online store
