See the Sights and Like a Boss - Dusty Attic NEW RELEASE

Hello and Welcome to October - Soon we will be buying Christmas presents!

Today I am sharing two layouts using the DUSTY ATTIC NEW RELEASE plus in collaboration with 3Quarter Designs paper using their "Incredible Journeys" new range all of which are available from the

DUSTY ATTIC ONLINE STORE

see the SIGHTS

One of the most amazing trips to the United States was when we went to Creativation in Phoenix and made sure we went to the GRAND CANYON.
We were booked in for a helicopter flight but it actually snowed, disppointed but also excited as it was also the first time I had been in snow!
An amazing trip that I will never forget.

I have started with one of the Collaged Frameworks #2 and used the chipboard inserts to mount my photos onto. I painted it with Stamperia paint then added chunky white embossing powder splattered around the edges.

The filmstrips are super fun which I snipped in half and put one piece on each side of the frame.
Travel Postmarks, Postcards and Wordstrips have all been painted in white.

The suitcases have also been painted white then highlighted using thin texta pens. The Compass Roses have been painted in green then I have added a little sequin in the middle.

My Second layout I have done is
"LIKE A BOSS"

For this layout I have layered two pieces of paper, one ontop of the stripe.

I have started with Collage Framework #4 and a Title that I already had "Like A BOSS" and painted them with Stamperia paints in two different blues to create an ombre effect.

The cute Paper Planes, postcards, postmarks and Wordstrips have been painted white.

The mini compass roses have been painted in the same blue of the frame and the mini filmstrip painted in green.

Escape Outdoors - Dusty Attic

Hello Dusty FANattics

Today I have a nature inspired layout of Kyden out and about last year at a park with Mason and Rivah.

I started with adding circles from the Dots Stencil underneath and around the photos plus in the corners on the right top and bottom.

I have used dark brown paint as my main colour then used lighter shades from there. Using the Honeycomb panel and some of the pieces I have snipped part of it to add to the top left corner and right hand side of the photos as part of a cluster.

One of the Geo Tribal arrows has been added to the bottom with dry brushing and an added cog with a brad in the centre.

My title "Escape Outdoors" has been painting in Ombre browns then split to the top and bottom of the photographs.

The Industrial Clusters are amazing and add a huge variety of different elements, I have added some of the Broken Bits Rings and some cogs and brads. I have done the same with the Industrial corner piece at the top left.

I have then added 49 and Market laser cuts from the Vintage Artistry Nature Study collection into different clusters together with my chipboard elements

Christmas Wreath - Dusty Attic December Mood Board

Hello Everyone

Today I am on the blog to share The Dusty Attic December Mood Board with you.

This is my take on the challenge

 Christmas Wreath

I started with Holy Wreath #1 and the berries painting them red, then moved on to the leaves with the lighter green.

Once totally dry I have used a coral colour to go around the lighter parts of the berries and a dark green up the stem to highlight the pattern. Then flicked watered down white paint to add splatters around the wreath.

The hanging baubles and bells have been spray painted white and the Christmas Berries #1have been painted with a plum colour.

I have added the whole piece to a sheet of clear acetate to then punch holes in the top so that I can hang it on my front door.

You can win one of two $50 (AUD) credits to the Dusty Attic website by adding your own take of the challenge. It is super easy, put your take on the board into the comments section on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page HERE.
