Adventure - Vintage Artistry Everywhere

Hello everyone

Today I have a layout of Anthony and Kyden with our trip to Queensland earlier on this year.
I have used the Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection which is just perfect for any travel photos you have.

I have started with Colored Foundations #2 paper and lightly sanded the edges, next I have added the "Wonder" paper on top which I have cut down to 11x11 to make a dark blue border around the edges which I have also lightly sanded.

I have then used some of the papers from the 6x8 pack as mats behind the photos plus used a paper punches to created the lime green edged pattern I have used which match the acetate filmstrips and frames. Color Swatch Inkwell stitched frames have been layered with ephemera pieces and tucked behind the photographs.

Using the Sentiments 12x12 rub ons I have added the Wander and wonder words then some of the laser cuts like the row of houses.

The suitcases have been bent to look like the tops of the cases and layered with foam tape underneath. Chipboard geo pointer frame has been added also with foam tape and the "keep exploring your world" disc.

The photos have been framed with the Chipboard map frames with chipboard elements and the title "Adventure" finishes off my page.

The Good Life - 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Countryside

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog post for 2023. These are photos of the grand babies at their Nana and Pappy's house holding the chickens! One of their favourite things to do there is collect the eggs plus feed the fish, clean the pond, watch the birds and play with the dog, sand pit, slide and cubby plus not to forget the spa as well.

I have started with the 12x12 Grange paper and used as a background piece adding the Farm Life paper after trimming it down to 11.5x11.5 and inking all of the edges. I have then used the black 6x8 paper and put that through the embossing folder and lightly sanded the top to make the design show through.

Next I have used the large red paint sploch from the Colourwash 12x12 rub on set and sliced it in half, one part I have put on the top right and for balance have put the other half on the bottom left. Then I have added the "Fresh" rub on from the 12x12 Sentiments set, layering it on top of the other one slightly.

The three tags at the top left of the photograph have been spladed out to see each of them in the cluster but as they where quite long I have cut them in half and added the bottom section to the bottom right of the photo.

On the bottom of the photo I have added some of the tags from the tag set and made a small cluster with chipboard bits to create "The Best Memories" mini title. There are two packets of laser cuts in this range, one is Elements and then the one that I have used is "Wildflowers", shaping the reverse of the piece and adding silicone behind them to keep the shape and dimension.

To finish off my page I have added the chipboard arrow as my title "The Good Life" and some of the gorgeous laser cuts. The chipboard Rooster and chicken have been inked around the edges and added to the bottom of the flower cluster, TIP - I have added a few little black scratches to look like the ground so it doesn't look like they are floating in the air.

Cosy - 49 and Market

Hello everyone, how amazing is the NEW ARToptions Plum Grove range? I adore this colour and it is perfect for this photo of my gorgeous Rivah in her warm and cosy knitted jumper as we were getting ready to go out on our "Nanny & Rivah" day.

I have started with a 12x12 patterned paper and trimmed it down to 11x11 inches and machine sewn it onto one of the deep purple Foundations papers.

While I had the sewing machine out I thought why not sew on some of the 6x8 papers that I chose to layer in the background along with some of the amazing Curators Key lined frames which make up the composition of my page.

Flower clusters have been made using two lots of the stunning laser cut packs, Plum Grove and Plum Grove Wildflowers. Added are the NEW paper Wildflowers Flowers in the Plum colour.

See the chipboard word "fabulous" at the top? It is adhered to one of the new File Frames which pulls out and opens up to share some journaling about our girly day.  The arrow piece that says "Snapshots" is from the Chipboard pieces pack and tucked underneath the photograph in the middle of the key lined frame. COZY is one of the amazing rub ons from the 12x12 Sentiments pack.

After adding some laser cut butterflies with the wings shaped upwards to look like flight I have added some of the 6x8 rub on transfers around the page.
