Natures Window - 49 and Market

 Hello everyone
Today I am sharing a layout of my Son and Daughter in Law when they went for a 4WD trip in 2015.
"Natures Window"  is an iconic attraction that has eroded an opening in the layered sandstone that frames a view of the river/gorges in Kalbarri W.A.

I have started with the 12x12 paper Vintage Artistry Hike more - Brambles and two of the papers from the 6x8 paper pack to mount the photograph onto adding chipboard pieces in between to add dimension.

I have added the "In the thicket" brown side as a base in the background while adding the frame, lace piece and dark brown doily from the laser cut sheets and Whitewash chipboard frame all layered with foam tape.

I then replicated the top section below the photograph except moving the lace piece.
See the "Go Places" and stitching on the whitewashed frame? They are rub on transfers.

Using the laser cut  Mushrooms from the 12x12 and 6x8 packs I have layered them to look like they are growing, to shape the laser cuts rub them on the reverse with an embossing tool or pen on a soft surface, like a spongy mouse pad. To anchor the mushrooms onto the page I have added some art stone rocks.

The Vintage Artistry Essentials foliage has been added inbetween the laser cut leaves and flowers.
To finish off my page I have added some more Roughly sewn rub ons around the edges and Hike More rub ons around the layout then just dropped a small drip of dimensional magic onto some of the leaves to look like rain drops.

Hope you have enjoyed my layout and will see you back here again soon.

Live with Purpose - 49 and Market November Sketch

Hello 49 and Market Fans, today I would like to share my layout of my super cute Grandson doing what boys do best, climbing a tree! This is at Yanchep National Park just around the corner from us and has amazing huge old trees, along with an open  Koala enclosure and heaps and heaps of Kangaroos, plus lots of birds and wildlife.

This is the sketch challenge for November.
I have added how to enter at the bottom of my blog post, you could win one of two 49 and Market prize packs.

I have started with two of the same paper, Vintage Artistry Essentials - Virtue. I cut the leaves from one sheet and put them aside. Using the other sheet I have cut around the leaves so they can pop up from the page and be and extra layer. Then I have used the reverse side of the paper to create the ripped centre piece.

The Laser cut sheets that come with the 12x12 packs are just exceptional, I have used the crooked fence and bamboo frame from them. Sand the pieces to make them look a bit older and shabby

The leaves that I cut from the first sheet I have layered with the ones I cut from the bottom pieces of paper that are sitting over the top of the centre piece. I have also done this on the bottom leaves.

"Live with Purpose" this banner was in the Vintage Artistry Essentials ephemera pack, the Essentials Hardware epoxy stickers are also amazing and I have used them here to look like a hanging sign and also in the corners of my photo mat.

A Collage of photos

1) I have used the Stitched Frames to add layers by putting them behind the photos and the ripped sheet.

2) Vintage Artistry Essentials foliage and In the Leaves rub on transfers which I have added around my page.

3) Those gorgeous trees are from the In the Leaves washi tape set that I have coloured along with the best day ever sign at the top, you can colour the washi with water colour pencils, sprays and paints.

4) More rub ons from the Essentials and In the Leaves range add extra foliage and texture.

Love - Dusty Attic Moodboard

Hello hello hello Dusty FANattics
Today I would like to share a layout of Myself, Hubby and Ky based on the November mood board.

and this is my Layout

I started with two sheets of paper, and loved the bottom film strip piece so cut the paper down from the top instead of cutting the strip off. The second sheet I tore the top and layered it onto the bottom page, this way I could add the Lace Trim.

I have mounted my photo with three pieces of cardstock adding the Mandala by Nuneka on the two sides then added the cute little Mini Owl  (Note, I took that little piece out of his eye that I missed!)

The "Love" title I have also sprayed white then added rub ons and sanded them back a little to make it shabby.

I have done the same with the Banners #5 , first taking out the little love hearts and popping them back in after I have added the rub ons.

The  Feathers by Nuneka  add a cute little flourish at both ends. I have then added the little frangipanis #3 which I have coloured with water coloured pencils.
You can shape the chip board by rubbing on the back with.
