ARToptions Viken Waterfall album - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans
I am on the blog today to show you this super cute Waterfall set album completed with the beautiful NEW ARToptions Viken range.

I have started with covering the outside pieces of the album with 12x12 papers then moved to the inside pages using the barcode strips and fabric tapes in the middle of the pages to also cover them.

Throughout the album I have used the ephemera pack and rub on transfers to decorate the pages after adding white photo mats all ready to add lots of photographs inside. The first page I have punched four circles out then covered them with fabric tape, cutting them in half and adhering to the top and bottom of the photograph mat.

Page nine in the album I have made a pocket from the 4x4 photo mat and some tags to add journalling or quotes to the page. Page eleven I have made a little flip page to open out to two photographs.

I have also used the 12x12 rub on transfers as well as the 6x8 set especially on the front and back cover. The Vintage Artistry Essentials Stitch washi tape set it amazing to then add to make it look like the pages have been sewn.

Breathe

Good Morning
I just want to share with you a frame that I have done using one of my old frames that I had in my scrap room and a product called Powertex.

I have always wanted to give it a go and at the Dusty Attic retreat in July I did a class and just adored it !

So I started with using all different types of fabric and ribbons and even part of a hessian coffee bag
(thanks Michelle Rigg), then I added all of my Dusty Attic chipboard. The NEW Indian arrows are suddenly one of my favourites! You can order straight from the Dusty Attic website and retail customers that order over $75 get FREE SHIPPING and that is World Wide.

Dream Catcher #2

The word Breathe is from Word Pack #10

 Ivory Powertex
It looks all very flat and one dimensional to start with.

But when you add Micro Beads, Golden flakes, Pearl drops and some Powder you can see all the textures and depth that was created.

SOME CLOSE UPS
The extra feathers added to the dream catcher are from the mini feathers and feathers packs

Duty Attic cute little roses just add that little extra "prettiness" to the project

Create Art Journal

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2015 - wow !
when did that happen ??

Below is one of the projects that I did to enter the Scapbooking Memories Masters competition.
I love the criteria they give you every year, this one really got my mojo flowing and I love what I created.

This is my Art Journal cover - I have added lots of photos because it is so dimensional and has layer upon layer.

I have used Bo Bunny paper in the background that also has a pipework pattern.
The edges of the piece are using Dusty Attics Corregated card, painted with Dusty attic silver paint and lots of different Tattered anglel Mists and embossing powders to give the rust effect

The enamel embossing powder I used gave it that "mottled, mouldy look" I was going for.

I distressed and bent the chipboard so much to make it look worn and old .
Dusty Attic chippy is so thick and is awesome for doing this to.

I added wire and metal bits and pieces
