Time Treasured - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

I hope you are all ready for the festive season, it is coming up so fast to Christmas Day.
Today I have a layout created of my adorable Grand Daughter, she is so super sweet and she might be spoilt just a tiny bit by her Nanny !

I have used the awesome new Vintage Artistry Naturalist collection starting with the "Countryside" paper printed with those gorgeous little birds. I have then used a piece of the "Meadow" paper torn and inked on both edges, using foam tape to add dimension I have mounted it onto the  "Classified" yellow sheet which has also been distressed and inked to add interest. These two have then been added to the bottom of the Countryside sheet.

I have then framed my photograph using the Whitewash Chipboard Frame, again inked around the edges. In the left top corner of the frame I added a laser cut bow then  a bow made from the 5ply Jute.
Those amazing window frames are laser cuts from the 12x12 collection pack. I have then added two pieces from the ephemera bits and file frame sets behind the photo.

I have then added the "Time Treasured" chipboard sticker piece as my title to the page.
If you find the edges and pieces too white and crisp for your page you can always ink them like I have here. The cute little hearts are from the Naturalist wishing bubbles and trinkets set.

The Rustic Blooms, Cranberry and Royal Spray Sunshine flowers compliment the Naturalist collection to perfection. I have added them together with laser cuts to both sides of the photograph.

To finish off my page I have layered some of the rub on doilys at the top of my page with some laser cuts and best ever tag. The rough sew rub ons have been added to the coral coloured ephemera piece around two of the edges and the sides of the green Meadow paper .

Nothing more perfect - Two layouts - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans
Today I have two single layouts that I have scrapbooked similar  (because they go in two different albums) using a different configuration on each. This is "Princess Rivah' my gorgeous Grand daughter who was wearing the perfect dress for the Vintage Artistry Mango collection.

I have started by adding just a bit of white in the background of the Saffron Notes paper using gesso and a stencil to each layout.

I knew I wanted to use those cute little tea cups from the 12x12  laser cuts so after I have matted my 5x7 photo using the Orange Blossom paper I have then added foam tape underneath so that I could layer ephemera pieces. Next I have cut a slice/slit around the lip of the teacup and added an array of laser cuts which I have shaped using a mouse pad and pen plus Tutti Frutti Sugar Stem flowers.

After attaching the photo wrap that looks like ribbon but is actually a laser cut I have added more flowers and laser cuts to the left hand side of my photo to balance the first teacup cluster.

My second layout I have started out exactly the same adding stencilling in the background however I have two photographs that I have cut down to 3.5 x 5 and added the Whitewash chipboard frames to on different angles, then matted the whole lot onto the Orange Blossom paper using foam tape behind the mat.

I have then used lots of the ephemera stack and laser cut pieces behind my photo mat to build up my composition. I just love the notebook paper piece on the left ! Using the other teacup I have again slit the top to allow flowers to be put into the cup, this time just a few adding the cute butterfly laser cuts.

To finish off both of my pages I have added lots of rub ons, plus wishing bubbles and baubles and the cute arrow shaped clips in white.

Thank you for popping over and seeing the gorgeous Mango collection.

Merry Christmas Santa - 49and Market Sketch Reveal

Hello 49 and Market Fans
Well here we are in December !
The month of celebrating the holiday season and spending time with family and friends. For me it is also about capturing the Memories in photo or video form, staged or candid doesn't matter.

It is also the first of the month so I have the honour of revealing this month's amazing sketch.  You could win one of two awesome 49 and Market Prize packs.
(Details how to enter are below)

My take on the sketch using photo's of my much loved and adored nephew goofing around in-between his "photo shoot" pictures. His gorgeous personality shines through in each of these photos.

I have started with the Peace and Joy "Starry Night" paper tearing it in half then tearing another pieces approx  two inches wide and flipping it over to the dark green side to make the first border section.  Because it is a sketch and I can change it to suit what I wanted I have added a piece of the reverse red side of the "Wishes" paper. Then I have flipped the other paper back over to the stars side for the far right and layered it to complete a 12x12 sized page.

I have then continued by layering my photos with the frames from the laser cut sheets out of the 12x12 Collection pack. Underneath the photographs and frames I have a layer of chipboard to add dimension to the page and enable me to tuck pieces in behind.  Now,  the antique looking frames in the ephemera bits pack are just a huge favorite of mine and I have used the two shades of blue behind the photos. The large red frame from the die cut sheet I have cut in half and layered one piece with the file frame tag under the green strip and the other side under the frames on the right.

The hanging party lights has been created using the roughly sewn rubons in black to make it look like string then the lights are added from the wishing bubbles and trinkets pack.

To emulate the sketch with the falling frames I have used the red, green and blue ones from the ephemera bits pack along with tickets and file tabs .

The cluster on the left hand side with the striped candy cane red frame has the super cute RED Santa Boots that I just had to use along with foliage from the laser cut sheets, and adding the little epoxy dots to look like baubles.

To finish off my whole page I have added some of the Essentials Hardware epoxied on the photos and a mountain of rub on transfers, the deer, the cute little robin bird, and lots of stars, around the boots, in the middle frame and around the robin plus a sprinkling of little sayings.
