Beautiful MOMENT - Dusty Attic Mood Board challenge

Hello Dusty FANattics

I would like to share a layout I have created inspired by  October's Mood Board

This super cute photo of my Princess Grand Daughter made me lean more towards the Apricots and Pale Pink of the board.

The stunning challenge board ...

I have used lots of different chipboard which I have painted white to start with, then added colour to some pieces like the Mini Cherry Blossom below.
I have added an apricot paint the wiped/dabbed some of it off in places.

The Lace Border #3 Small

piece is perfect for down the side of this photo.

Same as the  Mini Marrakesh Trellis

that you can trim and add under any photo or paper stacks that you make to add interest and draw your eye to that spot.

The Flutterbies #1  has also been left white which adds brightness to a page.

The Doily #1   I have cut in half and put one half at the bottom of the photo and the other at the top which I have added Rub-Ons to.

Beautiful Moment Impact Title   has been coloured like the cherry blossom, adding paint then wiping it off in places, this time leaving a bit more colour behind.

Discover and Favourite Time - 49 and Market

 Hello 49 and Market fans

Today I have not one but two layouts today using the same products which is the NEW Vintage Artistry Naturalist collection of papers, laser cuts and chipboard stickers.

The first layout is based on this month's sketch challenge titled "Discover" as you can see the sketch started out the same but then I added bigger photos.

I have started with the Tattered Wings paper then layered underneath is the Classified paper and finally the reverse green side of the Journal card sheet.

I have used the Rectangle Vintage Artistry Essentials - Stitched frames behind my photos in different angles adding a paper behind the top one to allow me to add rub ons later.

All of 49 and Market laser cuts are amazing and these ones are no different, with such gorgeous designs and fine details, I have added the photo wrap around both photos then layered flowers and butterflies. To add shape and dimension to you laser cuts just flip them over and rub with an embossing tool onto a soft mouse pad.

The three cute button circles on the left are from the Vintage Artistry Naturalist chipboard sticker sheet, I have used a little bit of jute underneath to join them together then added the cute little arrow clip from the Essentials white shaped clips.
There are NEW flowers as well as the NEW Naturalist range and I adore the Rustic bouquet in Cranberry, which I have used in a small flower cluster on the left hand side, note the new feathered leaves.

The bar codes of all the 49 and Market papers have a pattern or words on the reverse to be able to use (no wastage), this is what I have used in the bottom left hand corner. Rub on transfers are my all time favourite thing and I have used so so so so many of them from the "In the Leaves" collection, paint splatters, flowers and the gorgeous little butterflies.

"Discover" the title of my layout is from the Vintage Artistry Naturalist chipboard stickers pack, however the white edges where really bright and stood out so I have used a spectrum noir pen and coloured over it in green to blend a bit more.

My second layout "Favourite time" is nearly a duplicate of this page using the same products, it will be like a double page in my Grand daughter's album, these photos are of her being a kid and climbing up the brick wall in the park across the road from us, she has no fear!

Again I have layered the three papers keeping the "here" tag from the journal card paper.

The lace laser cut strip I have folded to look like a material lace border on the bottom of the photo montage and then slipped the remaining piece at the top to balance the colour.

Again I have used the Cranberry flowers, this time on the right of my page and added some of the leaves from the chipboard sticker pack with blended green edges.

This time I have used the cute little camera from the clips pack instead of the arrow and more laser cuts layered at the top with the branches frame cut in two, then adding the leaves and gorgeous bird perched on the top, look how detailed and fine the lavender is.

I have layered lots of rub on transfers over each other like on the chipboard tag with butterflies over the flower rub ons.

I hope you have enjoyed my two layouts today and the New Naturalist range.

Santa's Toy Factory - Dusty Attic Christmas chippy

Hello Dusty FANattics, today I would like to share a layout of my gorgeous Grand daughter of her First Christmas 2020 using the NEW Dusty Attic Christmas release.

As soon as I saw the Reindeer Forest Friends I knew I had to have them and which photos would go perfectly with them.

I started off with an undercoat spray (or you can use Gesso) then have used water colour pencils to colour all of the Reindeer and their scarves. To create even more dimension I have added shape to the back of the chipboard and also pulled the antlers forward for interest.

Santa's Toy Factory and Merry Christmas postmarks already came as shown in the white card so all I did was add them to my page.

I have used two packs of the presents to have a big pile for the other two Reindeer to stand on. These where coloured the same way, with undercoat and water colour pencils/pens.

The Christmas light border I painted with five different coloured paints in the same sequence remembering that the light cord is twisted, then added white dots with enamel drops, the cord I have painted green.

Happiness - 49 and Market TEAL collection

Hello and welcome to my next layout, I adore these photos of Ky, Mason and Rivah taken at the Yanchep National Park which is on our very own door step. This is a sculpture of an upside down gum nut, the three kids fit in there perfectly so you can image how big it actually is, the new Vintage Artistry Teal collection is perfect for these photos.

I started with mounting my photographs and using the gorgeous NEW Vintage Artistry Essentials rectangle stitched frames, the new frames have beautiful black stitching and book print around the edges. The 5x7 photo is on top of the large frame and the 6x4 photo is cropped to fit behind one of the others.

I have then used the "Breeze" 12x12 paper and the "Bloom" papers from the 6x6 paper pad.

I have layered pieces from the laser cut sheets, turn them over onto something soft like a mouse pad and rub them to create shape and volume, like the butterfly wings look like they are in flight. The photo wraps from the laser cut sheet are so realistic, I have used the tied bow one on my main photo. The tags have added jute in the hole at the top and layered with the quoted tag that reads "there are many beautiful reasons to be happy" how true is this ?

Next I have used the Teal/Mango rub on transfers everywhere all over my page including the doily, words and those cute little beads.

The strip along the bottom of the layout is the cut off throw away piece, this is one of the many things I love about 49 and market products, everything is useable, even the packaging has designs on it that can be used.

I was so excited when I saw the "In the leaves" fall range as well as this Teal  as there are NEW foliage pieces in amazing autumn colouring. I have added these around the photographs with the laser cuts and Royal Spray flowers in the "Ocean Jade" colour.

The finishing touches where to add epoxy stickers from the Wishing Bubbles and Baubles like the love hearts and word baubles.
