ARToptions Viken Waterfall album - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans
I am on the blog today to show you this super cute Waterfall set album completed with the beautiful NEW ARToptions Viken range.

I have started with covering the outside pieces of the album with 12x12 papers then moved to the inside pages using the barcode strips and fabric tapes in the middle of the pages to also cover them.

Throughout the album I have used the ephemera pack and rub on transfers to decorate the pages after adding white photo mats all ready to add lots of photographs inside. The first page I have punched four circles out then covered them with fabric tape, cutting them in half and adhering to the top and bottom of the photograph mat.

Page nine in the album I have made a pocket from the 4x4 photo mat and some tags to add journalling or quotes to the page. Page eleven I have made a little flip page to open out to two photographs.

I have also used the 12x12 rub on transfers as well as the 6x8 set especially on the front and back cover. The Vintage Artistry Essentials Stitch washi tape set it amazing to then add to make it look like the pages have been sewn.

Sweetest Heart - 49 and Market - NEW SPECRUM SHERBET range

Hello and welcome back to my second Spectrum Sherbet layout using all of the colours.

My gorgeous little grand daughter and I had a coffee date, she of course had a "Baby chino" while I had coffee. She really does have the SWEETEST HEART , such a caring, loving little one.

I started off my layout using the 4" washi tape that I tore down the middle and adhered it to the sides of the page followed by the dots and stitching washi tapes from the assorted washi set and pieces from the Postmark postage washi roll that has sweet little  words on it as well as all the amazing colours.

The photograph on the right hand side has been framed using the Tidal Wave frame set with the teal background, pattern frame then chipboard frame.
I have used some of the cute tags and different colours of the Remnants set behind the photographs, I have used the 4" washi tape to cover one of them.

The chipboard words set has the "sweetest" word which I knew I wanted to use straight away added to the bottom of the main photo and "heart" .  I have then used an array of different rub on transfers, the Palette set, Botanicals set and the Strawberry Lemonade set,  there are 5 different amazing sets in this range.

The Chipboard shapes have the beautiful little hearts that I have added floating up the page.

To finish off my page I have a floral swag of Passion Pink and Ocean Jade flowers plus wishing bubbles and baubles epoxy dots and shapes.

Hope you love this bright beautiful range as much as I do !

These Moments - 49 and Market - Curators Botanical

 Hello 49 and Market Fans
Today I have a layout of the three most precious kids to me in the universe, Kyden and my grand babies Mason and Rivah. This is taken at our local shopping centre all set up for Christmas photos.
The "babies" matching outfits and the colouring of the tree and the chair made this the perfect photo for the NEW Curators Botanical and Curators Essentials ranges.

I started with the Solids #2 Dark Brown colour as a base then added the reverse of  12x12 Les Fleurs paper, distressing and inking the edges. I have then used a piece from the 6x8 paper pack and one of my favourites the Washi Stitch tape set (4 patterns in 3 colours - its amazing) around the edger of the paper to make a frame element.

The amazing laser cuts are not sold separately and are just as beautiful and intricate as ever. The picket fence that I have used is just cut in half and used on each side of the photo.
To give contour and dimension to your laser cuts or ephemera pieces you just rub the back of them onto a mouse pad with a stylus or bone folder or even a pen, just something to give it shape.
I have made a cluster from ephemera pieces combined with laser cuts and a tag from the new tag sets now available. This has also served as the title to my page.

One of the ephemera pieces I have covered with the 4" washi tape then added water colour pencil to it to add interest to the moth and add balance to the composition. I have also used some of the washi tape around the edges of the page.

I have then added the "Together" word from the 6x8 rub on set (as there is also a magical 12x12 Rub on set as well !) along with the coffee and paint splatters and other stamp and postage rubons.

Finishing touches are one of the ephemera frames cut in pieces and added to the top as well as the amazing sunflower laser cuts along the fence line and a few white highlights here and there.
