Pick Your Poison - Curiosities in Willow Grove Halloween Pack

Hello and welcome to the blog today. I am sharing a layout using the Curiosities in Willow Grove Halloween pack that includes everything you need to create an array of pages from papers to stickers, laser cuts and die cuts all with these gorgeous colours and images.

I actually created some cute little clusters from the elements that I had left over from other layouts that I will also share with you all, then made a layout with four of them.

I have trimmed the ledger paper then blended "Just Peachy" Ranger Ink around the edges then added "Daffodil" ink blended into the peach. The dots created on the ledger paper are made from some left over bubble wrap and Daffodil ink.

I  have then matted my photo with white cardstock to make it pop, then added it to the green flourish paper.

I then added some of the black text paper and Polka dot paper that I have added some of the Daffodil ink to. The Necessities frame pack was perfect to add an extra photo to the page of Kyden without the mask on.

Hope you have liked my Halloween page and has inspired you to do one of your own, remember to share on the 49andMarket Fans Facebook page.

Charming, Handsome and Mischievous - 49 and Market Rust and Revs

Charming, Handsome and Mischievous, this describes both my Nephew and Grandson to a T ! Especially the mischievous part when they are together. I took these photos on the way back from a Dirtbike show we went to for Mason's birthday called the "Freestyle Kings".
They both has a great time and loved the show.

The colours in the photo are just perfect for the Rust and Revs collection. I have started with the "Freedom" paper in the background as a frame and then trimmed 1/2 inch from the top of the "Discovery" paper. Instead of cutting some off of the side of the paper I have scored it and pleated the paper on the right hand side.

I then used Frames from the Die cut set and put pieces of the patterned paper behind the windows to look like the inside of a workshop behind the first photograph then added some wood panel and cactus on the side of the second photo.

The Laser cut elements have been layered with tyres, cogs and an old fashioned radiogram.
The words Charming, Handsome and Mischievous are also from the Die cut pack. I have cut the white section from around the outside of the word then coloured in the white space with a pen to blend into the layout more.

Washi tape pieces have been added underneath all of the gorgeous old cars which have been added with foam tape behind them to pop in some cactus pieces.  The compass rose has been added to the top right corner with chain and arrow laser cuts.
Finishing off the page are the epoxy wishing bubbles and baubles added to the frames and different parts of the layout.

The kit includes four specialty papers, chipboard sheet, four amazing laser cut sheets and a pack of ephemera pieces.

These are my before and after photos of each page.

With all of the extra pieces left over and one sheet of paper I have created a fifth layout.

Magic - 49 and Market Christmas Spectacular

Hello and welcome to my last post for 2023, we had a mini Christmas photo shoot done for Kyden, Mason and Rivah, when Bonita (the amazing photographer) sent through our session photos she added some in a snow globe with Santa, I totally adore this and chose this photo to scrapbook with the Vintage Artistry Christmas Spectacular range.

I started with 12x12 Spruce paper then tore 12x12 Foundations paper #1 in half and attached that to the bottom of my sheet. Using the 6x8 paper pack I then made three layers of Mats for the photo.

I put two strips of the Postage stamp washi tape down each side of the patterned paper. The Acetate Foliage really didn't stand out at all so I have painted the reverse with cream paint then added it to the corner and down the bottom of the photo.

The ephemera pack has gorgeous pieces of larger paper like the "Deck the Halls" paper along with tickets and more to layer, layer, layer.

I have used two different Laser cut packs to make my clusters, the Elements and the Foliage packs together, plus a few strands of the while lace.

Finishing off my page I have added 6x8 and 12x12 Sentiments rub on transfers and little Washi Stickers here and there.

Wishing everyone a magical, safe and happy festive season

J xx
