You're Awesome - 49 and Market - ARToptions Alena

Hello 49 and Market Fans, today I am on the blog with a selfie photo of my amazing little grandson and I on a "Nanny & Mason" day that we had together. We went by train to the museum to see the Dinosaurs of Patagonia display of the amazing bones found. What was the most fun was not being in a hurry ! We took our time wandering around and Mason had fun at the nearby little park and activities that were on that day. When I saw the ARToptions Alena range it looked perfect to scrapbook this memory.

I have started with the 12x12 paper titled "Peek-A-Boo" as my background, distressing the edges and added alternating strips of the fabric tape set to the bottom of the page.

Next I used the oval frame from the laser cut sheet and added a light peach piece of paper from the 6x8 paper pack to the back. I then added a large floral from from the amazing 12x12 rub on transfer sheet.
I have then layered more of the 6x8 papers behind the photograph, using foam tape inbetween the pages.

I have then layered pieces of the ephemera and topped with the chipboard book plate that I have added brads to and title of my layout  "Your Awesome".
Ocean Jade flowers are one of the perfect colours to compliment the Alena range so I have created a flower cluster entwined with fine laser cut pieces and acetate leaves and butterflies.

I have create the curled paper fringe by cutting the paper in regular intervals and using an awl curled the paper around it. Layered under a lace laser cut piece to add interest and depth.

The "Embrace Life" has been created by layering pieces of the chipboard pieces into the arrow shape. I have added some of Ocean Jade flowers and laser cuts to balance the composition of my page finishing off with some of the gorgeous butterflies and cute mini metal index clips.

Sweetest - 49 and Market

Hello everyone, today I would like to share a layout of my cheeky little grand daughter using the NEW ARToptions Alena range.

First I have used the "Flirty" paper as a background and cut a photo mat out of the middle from the back. Then used the "Full Bloom" paper cut down to 11.5" x 11.5", distressing each of the papers.

I have used two of the ephemera frames the Coral at the top left and the green at the bottom right.
Then cut around the butterfly in the background to lift up over the ephemera frame.

The chipboard pieces have been placed down the side of the photograph, adding the cutest little laser cut buttons complete with thread. I have layered some of the tickets from the ephemera pack and lace laser cut. Little pieces of the fabric tape has been added down the bottom left to balance the gorgeous green/blue colour.

Adding three little tags from the tag set and a little heart chipboard piece at the top of the photo. Butterfly rub on transfers have been added including the "you are Adored" which she is totally loved and adored !!
The stunning photo wrap has been added, however it was too wide so I have just snipped a little piece off.

Some more of the laser cuts have been added like the stamps and gorgeous iron work heart. The flowers have been shaped with foam tape underneath to add depth then three NEW little Salsa flowers.

Sweet - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans, today I share a layout done of my gorgeous little grand daughter in her loved butterfly fur coat which made choosing the butterfly ARToptions Avesta range.

I have started by adding some of the Fabric tape onto the background paper.  To frame the photograph I have used two pieces of the 6x8 paper pack, first the pink as a photo mat and the second the gorgeous green paper to which I have added the Essentials Stitch washi set to look like messy stitching.

The lower right hand corner cluster is made from the tag set which come with the eyelets and string already done for you. plus ephemera and laser cut pieces which have the cute little butterflies.

The chipboard pieces have been used at the top right to form little arrows and the "Sweet" circle cluster which is the title of my layout.

To make the flower cluster I have used Ballet Slipper and Tutti Fruiti colours along with leaves and of my own little die cut white sprigs.

Finally to finish my page I have added pink prills to the centre of the flowers and around the page in little clusters.

Hope you have loved my page as much I enjoyed creating it.

ARToptions Viken Waterfall album - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans
I am on the blog today to show you this super cute Waterfall set album completed with the beautiful NEW ARToptions Viken range.

I have started with covering the outside pieces of the album with 12x12 papers then moved to the inside pages using the barcode strips and fabric tapes in the middle of the pages to also cover them.

Throughout the album I have used the ephemera pack and rub on transfers to decorate the pages after adding white photo mats all ready to add lots of photographs inside. The first page I have punched four circles out then covered them with fabric tape, cutting them in half and adhering to the top and bottom of the photograph mat.

Page nine in the album I have made a pocket from the 4x4 photo mat and some tags to add journalling or quotes to the page. Page eleven I have made a little flip page to open out to two photographs.

I have also used the 12x12 rub on transfers as well as the 6x8 set especially on the front and back cover. The Vintage Artistry Essentials Stitch washi tape set it amazing to then add to make it look like the pages have been sewn.
