Happy - Dusty Attic Mood Board Inspiration

 Good Morning Dusty FANattics

Today I bring you a layout created of my super cute Grand daughter, like all little people she has such a cute laugh that brings joy to everyone around her, below I have added some Dusty Attic toppers from the chipboard packaging to show where the products are.  The June Mood board was my inspiration for the colours along with the photograph.

This one is without the headers plus the Mood Board for this month.

I started with 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Blush collection of papers and ephemera pieces and frames to layer in between the papers and photo.

I have covered all of my chipboard with white paint then applied my colour on top.

I have only coloured the round bead section of my Beaded flourish using a pink watercolour, it was a bit too dark so then I went back over and applied some more white paint to make it more pink like Rivah's lace and tutu section of her jacket.

I have then coloured the flowers using two different pinks and a light yellow along with the green leaves. Remember you can bend and shape your chipboard to add dimension and interest to your page.

The "RIVAH" word was made from the Mini ABC Uppercase set.
After I added the Passion pink paper flowers and laser cut pieces I cut some or the chipboard leaves and stem off to add to the other side of my page. Don't be worried to snip here and there and re-arrange your chippy to suit your page.

To finish off I have added loads of rub ons around the page and the edges from the Blush/Sage set, then did some white paint splatters.

My Heart - 49 and Market Blush collection

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a layout of my sweet and sassy amazing little Grand daughter, she lights up my life (along with her brother!) and fills MY HEART with love and joy.

I started with using one of the laser cut frames around my main photo, she is doing "Peek-a-Boo" so I wanted to add more photos and capture her playing which I have added underneath. I then folded/scrunched the lace border laser cut so it looks more like a piece of material lace.

The pink doily I have cut in half to separate and put on each side of the main photo. Don't be afraid to cut pieces in half or rip them here and there to make them look more vintage or shabby. I have added foam tape to lift the one photo and add some more dimension. The pink & white and the blue & white striped strips are from the bottom of the Blush and Sky papers, I have then tucked in some other laser cuts inbetween and underneath to add more interest to the photo panel piece.

I have then used the pink flowers from the laser cut sheet with lots of the gorgeous leaves, then butterflies from the Blush and the Sky laser cuts.

Use an embossing tool or a pen to roll the leaves and wings to add lots of dimension and make it look like they are flying. Bending them upwards I have then added silicone underneath to hold the shape. b I have added some white paint splatters lightly over the main pink butterfly area to break it up a little bit.

To finish off my page I have added wishing bubbles and baubles plus lots and lots of rub ons including the words, butterflies, flowers and those gorgeous little beads.

With all my heart - 49 and Market and Dusty Attic

 Hello 49 an Market Fans

Today I am on the blog with a layout created using the 49and Market June sketch as inspiration. My subject is my gorgeous baby boy grandchild who is as cheeky and loveable as these photos show.

Details of how to enter the sketch for your chance to win a 49 and Market prize pack is below.

I have chosen the NEW Vintage Artistry HIKE MORE range which is available for pre-order and will be ready for shipping in approx 2 weeks, this range has the most amazing colours in greens, rusts and browns.

I started with the Boscage paper and used the green reverse side, I added a little green watercolour to highlight my photo spots in keeping with the sketch.

I have then used some pieces from the 6x8 Paper pad, the brown paper and one of the journal tags as  photo mats. Then the amazing laser cuts, first of all the mini frame that surrounds the bottom photo plus the cute little mushrooms, worm and dragonfly. The laser cuts mini view finder has paper from the paper pad behind it to make it pop and stand out.

To add more dimension and texture I have used Jute wrapped around the photo stack on the top photo. So that I could emulate the sketch again I have used the Roughly sewn rub ons vertically, layering some of them as I go, Remember you can cut the rub ons to fit into small places or half on the page and half off.

Pieces from the 3x4 Vintage Artistry File frame set have been used on and around both photos, The file frame set comes with not only extra tabs but also blank pieces in the same materials to use as  your own backing.

To finish off my page I have used the Hike More rub on transfers along the bottom, on the file set, and added a mushroom to the tree image on the paper, plus tucked in some tickets and leaves here and there, my final piece was to tuck in one of the Vintage Artistry Essentials foliage bits which I love so much!
