Amazing - 49 and Market - NEW SPECTRUM RANGE

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the New Spectrum Sherbet range, oh my wordy, the colours are magnificent and the range of products is huge !!!

In my layout below of my gorgeous little grandson I have purposefully used the teals, greens, yellows of the range.

I started by adding Fabric tape to two of the chipboard frames in the Frame set, I cut out the pink section of the tape and just rolled it back onto the roll to use at a later date. I have then positioned them into the corners and used the same colours from the postage stamp washi tape to create a frame around the edge of my page. The washi tape set has 5 amazing rolls in it including the dots which I have added on the inside of the frame.

The teal paper I have used to mat my photo (5x7) is also in the frame set along with the stunning coloured frame I have added behind.

There are two chipboard sets in this range, one of which has these awesome words which I have added with a cute love heart.

Rub ons are in abundance with five different packs, I was swooning with them all !
I have first added some from the Tidal Wave set with the grids and the cute little words, then added lots of the Pallets rub ons on top of the fabric tape inside the frames which gave a pop of added colour. I have also added some straight on top of the postage stamp washi in the bottom left to add texture.

I have then added some of the flowers, leaves and plants from the Botanicals rub on set and some of the tags from the tag set, looping the strings through each other.
Finishing touches are epoxy dots, love heart and word dot from the Wishing Bubbles and Baubles set complete with an arrow shaped clip.

I hope you have enjoyed this layout as much as I did in creating it, I will be back soon with a layout using the pinks and oranges from this spectacular range.

These Moments - 49 and Market - Curators Botanical

 Hello 49 and Market Fans
Today I have a layout of the three most precious kids to me in the universe, Kyden and my grand babies Mason and Rivah. This is taken at our local shopping centre all set up for Christmas photos.
The "babies" matching outfits and the colouring of the tree and the chair made this the perfect photo for the NEW Curators Botanical and Curators Essentials ranges.

I started with the Solids #2 Dark Brown colour as a base then added the reverse of  12x12 Les Fleurs paper, distressing and inking the edges. I have then used a piece from the 6x8 paper pack and one of my favourites the Washi Stitch tape set (4 patterns in 3 colours - its amazing) around the edger of the paper to make a frame element.

The amazing laser cuts are not sold separately and are just as beautiful and intricate as ever. The picket fence that I have used is just cut in half and used on each side of the photo.
To give contour and dimension to your laser cuts or ephemera pieces you just rub the back of them onto a mouse pad with a stylus or bone folder or even a pen, just something to give it shape.
I have made a cluster from ephemera pieces combined with laser cuts and a tag from the new tag sets now available. This has also served as the title to my page.

One of the ephemera pieces I have covered with the 4" washi tape then added water colour pencil to it to add interest to the moth and add balance to the composition. I have also used some of the washi tape around the edges of the page.

I have then added the "Together" word from the 6x8 rub on set (as there is also a magical 12x12 Rub on set as well !) along with the coffee and paint splatters and other stamp and postage rubons.

Finishing touches are one of the ephemera frames cut in pieces and added to the top as well as the amazing sunflower laser cuts along the fence line and a few white highlights here and there.

Boys will be Boyz - Dusty Attic March Mood Board

Hello everyone and welcome to March !

Today I am here to reveal my layout for the Dusty Attic Mood Board, here is the gorgeous monochromatic challenge of Black, grey and white.

BOYS WILL BE BOYZ

A little while back I went 4 wheel driving with my oldest son and the Grandbabies.
Mason (at 3 yr old) actually steers and drives up and down the sand dunes and on the beach.
It really is a case of   "Boys will be Boyz" in their household. He loves anything to do with cars, planes, trains, pushbikes, diggers and dirt bikes with dirty wheels.

I started with using the Tracks stencil and added some tyre tracks around the outsides of the page.

The Title I have just left as black and white over the photograph to stand out, same as the black stars and parts of the pulleys.

The remaining of the chipboard I have used the black paint and added white to it in different increments to form different shades of grey

After layering the cogs I have added some metal hexagon nuts.

The keys I have coloured the same way and then hung them from a metal clip.
