Nothing more perfect - Two layouts - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans
Today I have two single layouts that I have scrapbooked similar  (because they go in two different albums) using a different configuration on each. This is "Princess Rivah' my gorgeous Grand daughter who was wearing the perfect dress for the Vintage Artistry Mango collection.

I have started by adding just a bit of white in the background of the Saffron Notes paper using gesso and a stencil to each layout.

I knew I wanted to use those cute little tea cups from the 12x12  laser cuts so after I have matted my 5x7 photo using the Orange Blossom paper I have then added foam tape underneath so that I could layer ephemera pieces. Next I have cut a slice/slit around the lip of the teacup and added an array of laser cuts which I have shaped using a mouse pad and pen plus Tutti Frutti Sugar Stem flowers.

After attaching the photo wrap that looks like ribbon but is actually a laser cut I have added more flowers and laser cuts to the left hand side of my photo to balance the first teacup cluster.

My second layout I have started out exactly the same adding stencilling in the background however I have two photographs that I have cut down to 3.5 x 5 and added the Whitewash chipboard frames to on different angles, then matted the whole lot onto the Orange Blossom paper using foam tape behind the mat.

I have then used lots of the ephemera stack and laser cut pieces behind my photo mat to build up my composition. I just love the notebook paper piece on the left ! Using the other teacup I have again slit the top to allow flowers to be put into the cup, this time just a few adding the cute butterfly laser cuts.

To finish off both of my pages I have added lots of rub ons, plus wishing bubbles and baubles and the cute arrow shaped clips in white.

Thank you for popping over and seeing the gorgeous Mango collection.

Discover.....

Hiya everyone
Today I am sharing my take on the November Mood Board for Dusty Attic
I was inspired by the colours in the board - especially the Blues and yellowish orange

You can win a $100 Gift Voucher to the

All you have to do is add your link to your blog on the right hand side bar.

I started with the background and added the Splat stencil with the texture paste mixed with DA Paint Sunshine yellow with a touch of  Sunburnt orange

Stencils - Splat - DA1329

Then I used the Denim paint with the texture paste
(as the paste is white it makes the paint colour you use lighter) with the arrows stencil.
Then I dropped blotches of white gesso here and there

I used any left over texture paste and mixed it together to create the Green colour that I have used behind the Hot Air Balloon background
(and dry brushed a little gesso over it to show the texture)

The Blueprint Discover word and the Blueprint rocket where both painted and then I added some silver glitter over the top of portions of it to stand out, I also used a different colour paper behind the rocket.

Having the Orange straws behind the word makes it "pop", I also used micro beads to add extra texture to the background as well.

Dream....

I have many things that I love, Reindeer, Rocking Horses, Crowns, Fleur DeLis, Shabby anything, birds, bird cages, Wings and of corse along with birds comes feathers and butterflies and dragon flies !
(I even have a feathers tattoo around a dream catcher symbol on my thigh!)

So this layout pretty much sums up some of the things I love all in one creation !
This paper is just stunning and perfect for this photo that a gorgeous Jen Hall took at Camp Mojo !

I have used two pieces of the same sheet to 3D the butterflies and moths and I have used the back to matt my photo as well.

I started with adding Dusty Attic Chocolate paint to the new DA Texture Paste and using the Fan stencil added extra pattern and depth to the top and bottom corners and here and there over the entire page.

I then added doodling around the edges and different designs of washi tapes and triangles added around as well.

Mini tutorial on making your own feather pebbles :
Stick your feathers to the paper with double sided tape and place your clear pebble over the piece you want to use. Cut around the pebble and sand, then ink around the edges
Wha-Lah, done !

I have used the circle frame set as the dream catchers and wound wool around the edges. Gold thread and beads complete the web section of the Dream catcher

The feathers I have inked with a brown and golden green ink pads then used 13 Arts Gold Glitter paint and gold thread and beads to finish them off. These feather charms are some of my absolute favorites of Dusty Attics !

Behind the large dream catcher are craft feathers, white and brown mixed together, the photo is mounted using the back of the second piece of paper with some chipboard behind it to add height.

I have added Metal embellishments, the Crown and mini feathers with beads.

Lightly brushed the 13 Arts Gold glitter paint over the mini feathers and added a new bird design that allows you to have the background as anything you wish as they are two pieces where one sits on top of the other.

Tucked into the ripped edge Peep hole are some more fluffy craft feathers, with washi tape and another layered dove. I have added Liquid pearls to the paper as little dots randomly on the page, the wings and on the metal crown.

I used to do Paper Tole and love it when I can add other crafts I have learnt into my creations - hence why I usually get two or three pieces of the same paper, to make sure I have enough to 3D the main elements. Helmar "Liquid Scrap Dots" (LSD) is what I use to keep the wings up for the flying type of effect.
Thank you for joining me today
