A Moment in Time - 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Serenity

Hello everyone, today I am on the blog with Vintage Artistry Serenity collection and one of my wedding photos (From a while ago!).

"A Moment in Time"

I started how I usually do with my layouts and chose a main page and co-ordinating background, cutting a photo mat from the base layer. Trim the main paper to 11.5x11.5" then I have added the amazing Vintage Bits Lace washi in Hickory to some of the edges then also machine stitched zig zag and a wavy straight stitch.

I have then used some of the ephemera pieces and using an embossing folder to emboss them then added more ephemera plus laser cuts . Inking all of the edges and layering and layering.

The "A moment in time" title was made by adding chipboard to the back of the strip and then put ontop of the bookplate.

The amazing laser cut leaves, roses and flowers I have shaped on the reverse and used silicone underneath to layer and keep the form.

The final touches was putting an array of different rub on transfers like these gorgeous butterflies in the background and edges.

Loved - 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Serenity

Hello and welcome to the blog today, I have scrapbooked some absolute favourite photos of my Daughter in Law and Grandkids at a photo shoot she had done with her Sister and nephew at one of our gorgeous National Parks.

I have started with using 4 of  the Curators Essentials Key Lined Frames and cut a piece from the middle of the Solids Color #3 and framed it with the largest frame then framed the photos with the other three,  placing the main photo in the middle of the blue paper. When I cut the paper down to 11.5 x 11.5 I used the barcode strip and left over paper to make the striped pattern.

To make the "Loved" title I have used another piece of the Solids paper and rubbed on the title from the 12x12 Sentiments rub on sheet, then used one of the ornate iron frames from the laser cuts pack to put around it. To finish if off I have used an array of laser cuts to embellish the outside including those gorgeous butterflies.

I have then added the Oval frame over the top of the main photo and adhered them all to the base layering them and adding chipboard behind to make them stable and even adding the lace look laser cut to the bottom.

The leaves and flowers on both sides of the layouts are from the gorgeous laser cut sheets. I have shaped and layered them and used silicone (Liquid scrap dots) behind to keep the form and shape. I have then added the sweet hanging key and some more of the butterflies.

To finish off my page I have added some of the 6x8 rub ons like the butterflies, paint sploshes and leaves along with the little button laser cuts.

Kind and Gentle Heart - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans, today I have a layout of my gorgeous, cute, sweet little grand daughter Rivah, who really does have a "kind and gentle heart" using the  NEW Vintage Artistry Serenity range.

I have started with the 12x12 Calming paper and a circle (you can just use a dinner plate as  template) then machine sewn in light and dark blue cottons to create the main composition element of the layout.

I love the new Curators Essentials Key lined chipboard frames which I have used in two different sizes with pieces of the ephemera layered behind the photographs. The blue lace piece is from the laser cut sheet crumpled and folded to look like material and placed under the frames.

All of my laser cut pieces that have been shaped to add dimension have hot glue behind them to keep the form - as shown above under one of the butterflies or you can use foam tape, scrap pieces of chipboard or liquid scrap dots which is silicone that hardens.
I have layered lots of the laser cuts, ephemera and chipboard pieces plus added tags in the top embellishment cluster with white lacey trim.

The flower and leave stems from the laser cut sheets have been added in the circular composition as well.

To finish off my page I have added three of the laser cut cute buttons with thread already in them and chipboard pieces. I have added brads to the circular book plate before adding the title chipboard disc.

Simply the BEST - 49 and Market

Hello everyone, today I have a layout of my gorgeous Kyden, we have a little ritual of after every hair cut he has I get to take a photo.

First I started with the Solids #1 paper and cut out a circle from the middle of the back before using it as a border piece. I have then cut a circle frame which I have machine stitched and added the reverse light blue paper onto a chipboard piece to add layers to the page. I have then cut the Peaceful Notions paper to 11.5 x 11.5 distressing edges of both papers, then adding some machine stitching around the edges.

Look at the amazing leaves in the laser cut set ! I have shaped them using a mouse pad and a pen then added liquid scrap dots behind them to keep the form then layered over the top of each other.

Lots and Lots of layers have been achieved with ephemera and laser cut pieces. I have added the washi tape to a piece of card and torn the pieces adding them to the layers. Two of the ephemera pieces I have put through my big shot with a Star embossing folder inking the edges.

Using  chipboard pieces I have layered three of the arrow pieces topped with the book plate and the title "Simply the Best" and cute little laser cut button.
He is one of the BEST things in my life and brings lots of happiness and joy to so many.
The chipboard tag has been embellished with the ironwork key and some winged things.

I have used the "Best" from the 12x12 Sentiments rub ons onto a white piece of cardstock and fussy cut it out as to make it stand out by adding tape underneath to layer it. I have then added some more of the amazing leaf laser cuts layered across the bottom.
