Blessed - Dusty Attic - June Mood Board inspiration

Hello Dusty FANattics

Today I have a layout of my gorgeous little grand daughter taken last year at the park across the road, just sitting playing with the leaves quite happily.

Although I started off with the Dusty Attic June mood board my layout took me into a different direction as I added greens, blues and yellows to my page below.

I started off by slicing the large Park tree in half and using this on the left hand side of my page (and now I have another half for another layout)  I have painted the Tree with brown on the  trunk and branches and then the grass and leaves section with green, when it was completely dry  inked some brown ink over the top to add texture, I have painted the Autumn leaves the same way.

Using the 49 and Market Curators Botanical range allowed me to connect the tree over to the photograph using the fence rub on then follow the layout upwards to add the Heart strings heart and large butterfly to the top of the page.

The word "Blessed" is from Word pack #45 and is perfect for the way I feel about both of my grandchildren. I have sponged this with the same green as the tree but added a yellow ink over the top to add highlights.

To finish off my page I have added a mini heart button in white and three cute little mini butterflies in yellow,

Remember you can purchase any of the Dusty Attic chipboard from the online store

Outside Adventures - 49 and Market - Vintage Artistry Naturalist

Hello lovelies, today I have a layout of my firecracker little grandson and gorgeous nephew. I love that both Mason and Kyden love the park across the road and "Outside Adventures"

The Vintage Artistry Naturalist collection is just perfect for this photo !

The 6x8 paper pack and Bookplates set is what I have used in the background with Essentials file frame sets and the amazing already stitched frames to create layers and layers behind the photograph.

The amazing laser cuts have such fine details and add something special to each page. I have layered leaves and flowers together with the realistic photo wrap.

I have added more laser cuts with the olives and leaves together with the "Outside Adventures" title and cute little bird. The jute and green cord have been added to wrap all of the bottom pieces together.

Rub on transfers have been added with the stars, text patterns and stripes. Essentials Epoxy Hardware has been added to the photograph at the top on both sides and to finish off I added the cute laser cut at the top of my layout.
Thanks for joining me today, hope I have inspired you to create, if so why not add your project on the
49 and Market Fans Facebook page for all of us to see.

These Moments - 49 and Market - Curators Botanical

 Hello 49 and Market Fans
Today I have a layout of the three most precious kids to me in the universe, Kyden and my grand babies Mason and Rivah. This is taken at our local shopping centre all set up for Christmas photos.
The "babies" matching outfits and the colouring of the tree and the chair made this the perfect photo for the NEW Curators Botanical and Curators Essentials ranges.

I started with the Solids #2 Dark Brown colour as a base then added the reverse of  12x12 Les Fleurs paper, distressing and inking the edges. I have then used a piece from the 6x8 paper pack and one of my favourites the Washi Stitch tape set (4 patterns in 3 colours - its amazing) around the edger of the paper to make a frame element.

The amazing laser cuts are not sold separately and are just as beautiful and intricate as ever. The picket fence that I have used is just cut in half and used on each side of the photo.
To give contour and dimension to your laser cuts or ephemera pieces you just rub the back of them onto a mouse pad with a stylus or bone folder or even a pen, just something to give it shape.
I have made a cluster from ephemera pieces combined with laser cuts and a tag from the new tag sets now available. This has also served as the title to my page.

One of the ephemera pieces I have covered with the 4" washi tape then added water colour pencil to it to add interest to the moth and add balance to the composition. I have also used some of the washi tape around the edges of the page.

I have then added the "Together" word from the 6x8 rub on set (as there is also a magical 12x12 Rub on set as well !) along with the coffee and paint splatters and other stamp and postage rubons.

Finishing touches are one of the ephemera frames cut in pieces and added to the top as well as the amazing sunflower laser cuts along the fence line and a few white highlights here and there.

Adorable - 49 and Market Curators Botanical

Hello 49 and Market Fans

I am so happy to bring you a layout today of my little Grandson taken at Christmas time at our local shopping centre. Of course as soon as I saw the NEW Curators Botanical range I knew it would be perfect for these photos, plus I have two extra photos taken on Santa's chair underneath in an interactive flap.

The New ranges are just amazing with not only new colours and themes but also with so many new elements as well.

Papers are still sold in packs however the laser cut sheets are now packaged as 4@ 6x12 sheets and sold separately. (you can also purchase the 12x12 paper sheets singularly). Ephemera bits now have different elements in them, Tag sets are super cute and new complete with eyelet and string. Also new are the many different Washi rolls and Fabric tapes that you will see the team using as well as the Rub ons that come in 6x8 and amazing 12x12.

Now,on to my layout...

I have started with one of the Solids colours #3, distressed all of the edges and inked with Pinecone ink then added torn pieces of the washi tape along the left hand side then machine stitched all the way around. Using another Solids colour I have done the same around the edges, adding washi and machine stitching, layering some of the bookplates pieces underneath.

Then I have also machine stitched around the outside of one 4x6 file frame and made a flap for extra photos out of another, covering the extra tabs with washi tapes.

I have used papers from the 6x8 paper pack on the inside with strips of the postage stamp washi on the right side underneath. The laser cuts are so intricate and beautiful as always, the filing cabinet is one, that I have added ephemera pieces hanging out of one of the draws along with frames plus dainty plant and foliage pieces.

One of my favourite washi tapes is the Curators Essentials stitching washi which I have used around the outside of a square file frame in the black with white stitching. This pack has four different designs in three different colours !

I have then added tags from the tag set, and an array of the 6x8 Rub-Ons.

Tip - If you only want to add a little colour here and there just rub a tiny piece then pull up straight away, then you can add another and another and another until you have enough.

Take care and hope you get some creating time with the wonderful new ranges!
