Love (25/04/2020)

Good Morning Dusty FANattics

Today I would like to share a layout of my Mum, Dad and myself using the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry collection in CORAL.   There is so much I can say about this photo, this is us now, we seem to make sure we take photos together whenever we can, I think we just wish we did this more often when my darling brother was alive. So people, take those photos, none of this "my hair is't done" or "I look fat", just get in there and be in photographs as well as taking them.
Okay, now I have given you my worldly advice just letting you know that
Dusty Attic have the Vintage Artistry and other 49 and Market lines on the website

I have used the string of Hearts at the top corners of the layout

Look at all those gorgeous Collage pieces layered with the heart frame.

All of my chipboard I have coloured with white except my title to make it "pop" I have used a green ink over the top

This small lace border is just perfect for under photographs, there is also a large version however I have used the Fancy Trim (#13) at the bottom of my page on the top of layered papers

I adore how this tropical foliage could also be used a feathers, again I have left it white to showcase all the fine details in the chipboard piece.

I hope you have enjoyed my page today, happy creating memory keepers.

Cute, Sweet Memories (16/04/2020)

Hello Dusty FANattics

Today I am sharing a layout of Kyden from his one year old birthday shoot out in the front garden
(Pssst, He is NINE tomorrow!)
Anyway..

I have used 49 and Market Vintage Artistry collection in the Natural, papers, laser cuts, collage pack, washi strips and stamps, I have coloured my chip board pieces in different tones of green with paints and inks to compliment my photo.

I used the Sweet Memories from the captions pack, is there anything better than a baby that gives you those awesome memories when they are little and just adorable?
(Well maybe a puppy!)

I have then used the "cute" polaroid frame and just tucked in underneath my photo.
These NEW trees are deluxe !  Winters forest mini
Some more close ups - I have used the stitching and ruler stamps on the washi tape to add extra texture

Layers and layers of goodness !
I have also used the ruler stamp on the edge of the frame as well as on the edge of my craft cardstock.

Hope you have enjoyed this blog post and are keeping safe and well.
Remember if you are creating to share your project on the Dusty FANattics face book page. HERE   This is where you can also enter the Mood Board challenge by adding your take in the comments section - much easier !

The Best thing about Memories is Making them (22/04/2019)

Hello Dusty FANattics
Its Jen Burns on the blog today with a layout of MYSELF !
I know right ! How many of us do layouts or even take photos of ourselves for that matter, NOT enough of us I'm thinking, so my challenge to you is next layout you create, make it one of yourself.

This was taken in January at one of my Daughter-in-laws birthday get together's, it was a gorgeous sunny day with family and friends all around and of course wine!

After I cut the string frame I used Vintage Remnants #9, blue section behind the smaller piece of frame and used this as backing for adding my Designer Disks onto.

Most of my chipboard I have coloured white with the exception of the String frame and the Deer Antlers which I painted With Impasto paint by Finnabair "Aubergine"
The Deer head I covered and matted my photo using the middle of the background paper

Merry Christmas Layered Decorative Page (04/12/2018)

Hi everyone, Jen here with you today with a 12x12 layout that I am going to put into a frame as a Christmas decoration. I have used the Mintay line of papers as I totally loved them as soon as I saw them, plus they really match this months Mood Board Challenge.
You could win one of two $50 vouchers to the

I really like fussy cutting so I have quite a few layers of the paper, teamed with NEW and older pieces of chippy.
