Hello everyone, hope you are all having an amazing start to 2021. Did you see that we now that 49 and Market have an amazing Sketch challenge every month with two prizes ? I will add it to the bottom of my post because I really want to show you the spectacular NEW Vintage Artistry range named BLUSH is, plus there are NEW Rub-on packs with two colours included, in this case it is the Blush/Sage set. Each pack has six sheets of different designs which include doilies, stitching, words, flowers, foliage, butterflies, those gorgeous little beads and much more.
This is a layout of my amazing Grand daughter ("The Princess"), she is the first girl born in our side of the family since me, so lots of years! How perfect are her clothes, headband and blanket she is sitting on for this new pretty dazzling range.
I started out using the Sage paper range "Papillion", adding Gabi's Line stitch stamp in Petunia Ink to the top left hand corner. Two Sage stitched frames where chosen which one I have used around one of the photographs and the other I have added clear acetate to the reverse of it then put on a selection of Rub-ons under the frame onto the paper then on top of the acetate to create a window illusion.
To a second piece of acetate I added a Sage doily Rub on and layered this under the right hand photo with some of the Ephemera stack pieces, I love the opaque look this gives so you can still see the pieces underneath, I have also added the Washi strips to the chipboard hearts to colour them.
The shutter window has a piece of the ephemera stack behind it with the foliage and flower rub-ons placed so it looks like they are outside, try the rub-ons everywhere. I have added them to the chipboard heart as well to add dimension and they are ever so pretty. The Lacey white trim has been gathered and added underneath both photo frames.
To finish off my page I have added an array of the amazing die-cuts, to shape them and give volume I just used a mouse pad and embossing tool (you can even use a pen), I adore all of the laser cuts, they are so delicate and fine, the Scarlet mini flowers are perfect for this Blush range, then of course I added more Rub-ons, those little beads are just gorgeous and the vine coming out from behind the flower cluster.
