MAGIC - 49 and Market Spectrum Gardenia

Hello and welcome to my layout today of my ultra sassy and gorgeous grand daughter just after she had "Mermaid braids" put in her hair. I have lots of amazing photos of her doing different poses all by herself but I chose this one to start with as it is my favourite. Stay tuned for more !

I couldn't go past this amazing 12x12 paper with the rainbow array of butterflies at the top so this is what I started with.

I have used the Foundations plain black piece as a photo mat then added the colourful view finder from the ephemera pack to the side after cutting it in half.
The cute little "you are colorful" piece is from the General laser cut set and has faux stitching to look like a fabric tag.

Along the top I have used butterflies in their respective colours from the Butterfly Laser cut set, shaping the wings to emulate flying and adding silicone underneath to keep the shape then adding a Best Ever circle and bow from the ephemera pack.

I had an amazing time layering lots of pieces from the Floral, general and leaves laser cut packs that are choc-o-block FULL of all different and amazing elements. Shape your laser cuts by rubbing the reverse with an embossing tool on a soft surface like a mouse pad then add foam tape or silicone to keep the shape and form.

To finish off my page I have used the "Magic" chipboard word as a title and to anchor down my huge bouquet of florals. To mirror the butterflies at the top of the paper I have added a row of different colours from the "Butterfly Washi Stickers" roll.

Always and Forever - Color Swatch Toast

Hello everyone, today I have created a layout for my mum for Mothers Day in a few weeks of my amazing Brother and Sister in laws wedding day.

I have started with two sheet of the Number 1 paper and cut a square out of the middle of the plain side which has been used as a photo mat, then cut down the other sheet to 11.5x11.5 inches and attached to the base sheet with a border around it.

I have used the stitched Frame set around the main photo and also layered below, above and to the sides with the acetate filmstrips.

The two clusters one on each side of the photo have been made with layers and layers of laser cuts, acetate leaves and butterflies.

To add dimension and depth to the laser cuts you just rub the back of the piece with an embossing tool onto a soft surface like a mouse pad. Underneath I have used silicone like liquid scrap dots but you can use foam tape or even blobs of hot glue can make a base for your item. I have added an array of rub on transfers including the “Always and Forever” title.

You can see the different layers here, I have used pieces of chipboard inbetween to add height. Finishing off my page I have added Rustic Bouquet flowers in Cranberry colour which is perfect for the Toast collection.

Road Trip - 49 and Market - Vintage Artistry Everywhere

Hello everyone, today I am showing you a layout of my gorgeous daughter in law and grand daughter in matching little dresses ! They are out and about 4 wheel driving along the beach which they do quite often and camp overnight with a group of friends.

The Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection is perfect for any type of travel. I have started with the pink coloured paper from the Foundations 12x12 pack as the base cutting a square from the middle to use as a photo mat. Then used the reverse of the "Ticket Montage" paper, I have kept the pink barcode on the bottom and cut the extra from the top to 11.5 x 11.5. I have then distressed around the edges and added the thin washi tape from the washi set all the way around the edges.

I have also added some of 6x8 papers to layer behind the photo. Using the tag set and ephemera bits I have made a cluster adding some of the Geo chipboard bits.

The frame around the smaller photo is one of the chipboard map frames to which I have added some photo corners and rub ons to.
The words at the bottom left are from the ephemera pack and laser cuts, I have added some foam tape underneath.

The Washi tape stickers have been placed around the layout including adding them to some clear acetate and cut them out like the little clips attached to the blue acetate filmstrip frames. "Transport, Happiness and Together" are from the 6x8 Album rub on pack and added to file tabs from the ephemera pack.

To finish off my layout I have added the Slate wildflowers as a cluster adding wishing bubbles and baubles, rub ons and chipboard bits including the "Drive" title.

Awesome - 49 and Market

Hello Everyone, my layout today is of a very special photo from an amazing day! The AFL Grandfinal is a HUGE deal in Australia, a little bit like the "Superbowl".  It is always held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, however because of a Covid outbreak and everything being in lock down in Victoria they moved the Final to Perth WA. Our neighbours have friends who are Melbourne Football Club members and luckily for us they not only shared their barcodes for tickets but also had two extra for Kyden and I.

Usually an Eagle (West Coast Eagles) we changed to a Demon for the day to cheer and barrack loud - and they WON.

When I received the Color Swatch Inkwell collection I knew it would be perfect for this exact photo.

I have started with Inkwell paper #4 as the base and cut a rectangle out of the middle to use as a photo mat then used Inkwell paper #1 as the main paper, cutting it down to 11.5 x 11.5 so there is a frame around it.

To add the pop of red needed I have used one of the ARToptions Holiday wishes papers as a photo mat and punched a strip for the Inkwell laser cut to sit on, along with one of the red laser cut frames and Salsa tickets layered with the Inkwell ticket essentials.

The Envelope bits were perfect for some of the journaling with added tickets and leaves to decorate the envelope. I have layered lots of the Inkwell laser cuts together with frames, tickets, leaves and paper from the amazing Collage sheet pack.

There is hidden journaling as well to add the story of why the Grandfinal was in Western Australia and how we got tickets to go with a chipboard Geo frame from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection as a pointer.

I have curved the laser cut leaves to add dimension and layered them underneath the bottom of the photo then added lots of the Inkwell Acetate leaves.

Then to finish off my page I have added chipboard pieces from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection "Awesome" along with the crosses and "On the bucket list" bookplate.
