Loved - 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Serenity

Hello and welcome to the blog today, I have scrapbooked some absolute favourite photos of my Daughter in Law and Grandkids at a photo shoot she had done with her Sister and nephew at one of our gorgeous National Parks.

I have started with using 4 of  the Curators Essentials Key Lined Frames and cut a piece from the middle of the Solids Color #3 and framed it with the largest frame then framed the photos with the other three,  placing the main photo in the middle of the blue paper. When I cut the paper down to 11.5 x 11.5 I used the barcode strip and left over paper to make the striped pattern.

To make the "Loved" title I have used another piece of the Solids paper and rubbed on the title from the 12x12 Sentiments rub on sheet, then used one of the ornate iron frames from the laser cuts pack to put around it. To finish if off I have used an array of laser cuts to embellish the outside including those gorgeous butterflies.

I have then added the Oval frame over the top of the main photo and adhered them all to the base layering them and adding chipboard behind to make them stable and even adding the lace look laser cut to the bottom.

The leaves and flowers on both sides of the layouts are from the gorgeous laser cut sheets. I have shaped and layered them and used silicone (Liquid scrap dots) behind to keep the form and shape. I have then added the sweet hanging key and some more of the butterflies.

To finish off my page I have added some of the 6x8 rub ons like the butterflies, paint sploshes and leaves along with the little button laser cuts.

Hello December - 49 and Market Holiday Wishes

Hello everyone, at the beginning of December we took Skye our 11 month old puppy to have her photo taken with Kyden together with Santa. She wasn't sure about the big jolly fellow to start with but once he said "Here up, up here" and patted the lounge seat she was all over that and got up straight away.

I started with the "Picking the Tree" 12x12 paper and added some washi tape to the edges. Using some pages of the 6x8 paper pack I have created two photo mats.

I have made a decorative cluster on the top left with pieces from the ephemera pack and laser cuts. I have then used more pieces of the ephemera and laser cuts to layer, layer and then layer some more under the photograph using foam tape to add dimension.

I have then added the pick up truck laser cut after shaping the back and using foam tape underneath.

Those amazing blue leaves are also from the laser cut sheet and I have shaped the reverse then added silicone (liquid scrap dots) underneath to hold the shape and added that cute little bird.

To finish off my page I have added an array of different rub on transfers like the "under the tree" and "jingle bells" on the other pick ups.

Wishing you a wonderful and happy festive season.

You bring the Sunshine - 49 and Market Countryside

Hello everyone, thank you for joining me on the blog today of a layout created of my gorgeous sassy Grand Daughter, even when tired after a day at a water playground, her super cute dress was perfect for the Vintage Artistry Countryside range.

"You bring the Sunshine"

I started with 12x12 paper named Golden Fields and a piece from the 6x8 paper pack as my photo mat, instead of trimming it down I left a thicker border at the bottom.

There are two packs of the laser cuts, I have used the "Wildflowers" pack and chosen lots of the Sunflowers in different sizes along with leaves. Adding Silicone (Liquid Scrap Dots) or foam tape behind the flowers will give form and dimension.

The yellow and black arrow banner with Rivah's name on it has been made from layering the arrows from the chipboard bits pack along with the little heart shapes.

Look how cute the little bees are and that super sweet giggling pic! I have then layered some of the tags and slipped them underneath the photo mat.

To finish off my page I have added some of the Amber Sunflowers mixed with Salt Natures Bounty flowers.
The title of my layout has been formed from the Chipboard bits pack and a cute bow from the cut up bonus sheet out of the 6x8 paper pack.

Remember to share your own creations on the 49 and Market Fans Facebook group for us to admire.

Christmas Wreath - Dusty Attic December Mood Board

Hello Everyone

Today I am on the blog to share The Dusty Attic December Mood Board with you.

This is my take on the challenge

 Christmas Wreath

I started with Holy Wreath #1 and the berries painting them red, then moved on to the leaves with the lighter green.

Once totally dry I have used a coral colour to go around the lighter parts of the berries and a dark green up the stem to highlight the pattern. Then flicked watered down white paint to add splatters around the wreath.

The hanging baubles and bells have been spray painted white and the Christmas Berries #1have been painted with a plum colour.

I have added the whole piece to a sheet of clear acetate to then punch holes in the top so that I can hang it on my front door.

You can win one of two $50 (AUD) credits to the Dusty Attic website by adding your own take of the challenge. It is super easy, put your take on the board into the comments section on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page HERE.
