You can be anything - Vintage Artistry Hike More

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a photo of my gorgeous grandson, I managed to snap this while we where at the park across the road, like a true little boy he has a hand full of leaves in one hand and a stick in the other. The Vintage Artistry Hike More range is just perfect for the colours of my photo.

I started my layout with the "Bramble" paper and turned it on its side so the branch and leaves are on the top and bottom of the page instead of the sides. I have also used the reverse of the  "In the Thicket " paper as a border around my whole page.

I have used two of the 6x8 paper pack pieces to mat my photo, then added file frames from the 3x4 pack behind and inbetween the layers.

Next I have created a cluster on the right hand side using pieces from the Hike More ephemera stack pieces, and a tag on the bottom of the photo which gave my page a title. Believe me this little boy Can be anything he sets his mind to, he is determined (read as stubborn) and knows what he wants at the grand age of 2 and 3/4.

The Royal Spray Olive flowers are absolutely perfect for this range, paired with Vintage Artistry Essentials foliage pieces and butterfly. I have added another piece from the ephemera stack, You can bend and shape all of these and the laser cut pieces as the paper is so thick and such good quality it holds it's shape. If I shape butterflies or anything that is quite sculpted I do add silicone underneath.

The finishing touches on my page are little love hearts from the Chipboard stickers pack, gorgeous epoxy dots from the Wishing Bubbles and baubles VA Sage and of course rub on transfers added to the tags, around the page and those cute mushrooms on the bottom right.

Beach days are the best - Vintage Artistry Beached

Hello everyone, today I have another set of holiday photos to share with you from earlier on this year. Kyden is skimming rocks, first you need to have the perfect rock though, chosen with care. I have used the NEW Vintage Artistry Beached line of papers and rub-ons.

I started with a paper called "Uninhibited" which I chose because of the palm trees but I think it reflects the photos in more ways that one. I usually cut my paper down and add a backing sheet but I chose not to for this page as I wanted all of the print to show.

This gorgeous wooden bridge was the first of the many laser cut pieces that I used, underneath I have used some of the wave rub ons (before adhering the bridge down).

I was scrapbooking with another design team member, Audrey Underwood while creating this layout and she ever so nicely shared her laser cut frame on her sheet with me. This way I could position all of the photos to tell a story of Ky finding and choosing the perfect rock, then of him skimming it.
I have printed these as 2x3 and then trimmed them on the sides to fit, each of the photos have been raised with foam tape to add dimension.

I have then stared adding an array of the laser cuts like the netting under the frame, fern leaf, in the sunshine tag and the thongs (or flip flops). The three arrows I made from adding the bottom parts of tags together.

I love this cluster down the bottom left of shells from the Vintage Artistry Shore laser cuts sheets plus more from the Beached collection including that super cute seagull.

Rub on transfers just finish off a page to perfection. I have used them all over my page adding interest with splashes, seahorses, starfish, shells and words.
