Sweetest - 49 and Market Krafty Garden

Hello everyone and welcome to my first post for 2025, hope you have all had a wonderful festive break and celebrated the New Year. Today I share a layout of my amazing little Grandaughter who I obviously adore! We have spent lots of time together over the years but in 2024 we had every Friday together as her brother attended full time school. This is the last of our "Babychino" dates as she now starts full time school herself in 2025.

The Krafty Garden range was perfect for these photos, I have started with the Solid #5 paper in the background, before adhering the patterned paper I have cut a rectangle from the middle of the paper to use as a photo mat.
The "Peaceful Magnificence" 12x12 paper I have cut down to 11.5 x 11.5 so I have a frame around my layout.

Using a mixture of the Elements and Mini Laser cuts I have added the lace pieces underneath my photo then created a cluster on the right hand side after adding the cute little fence piece.

I have created the same type of cluster on the other side but used the Mini laser cuts instead and added the acetate pieces leaves behind the cluser. Adding the "Sweetest" chipboard word along the photos created my title.

Across the top of the layout I have added filmstrips and flower clusters from the Acetate pieces set along with ephemera and laser cuts bits.  Finishing touches are from the rub on transfers set and epoxy wishing bubbles.

Wishing you an amazing 2025 with lots of new and exciting ranges and designers to spark your creativity.

Wonderful - 49 and Market Evergreen Season

Hello and welcome to the blog today, the last day of 2024 !

What better way than to end with a Christmas layout of my two amazing grand kids and Santa.

I have used the 12x12 Red Foundations paper as the background then added the bonus paper on the reverse of the Collections pack trimming it to 11x11 so I have a border around the layout. The photograph has been matted using a piece from the 6x8 paper pack.

I have created a layered cluster starting with the window frame with a piece of the 6x8 paper in the background, then added foliage pieces, wood circles and flowers. The lanterns have been sculpted with foam tape added to the back to hold their shape. Finishing off this cluster is the deer and bows.

The chipboard word "Wonderful" has been added as my title, I have coloured it in using a pen to cover the white edges and making it blend more.

The bottom cluster is also made using the Elements and Wildflower laser cuts starting with the frame and adding the same paper in the background. Then layered foliage and Santa together with the red truck and star flowers and bows.

There are two different rub on transfer packs that I have also used. The Wildflower pack that has lots of foliage and flowers and the Essentials that has paint splatters, phrases and words.

Thank you for joining me on the blog today and I wish you an amazing New Year.

2025 is going to be amazing.

My Little Man - 49 and Market - Rust and Rev's

Hello and welcome to the blog today, I hope you are all ready for the festive season. I am looking forward to spending some time with my Grand kids over the holidays. Like Mason, who adores being outside in nature, whether it be the beach or a park or the "bush". I love these photos of him climbing a tree at the park across the street from us.

I have used the Rust & Rev's range and started with the 12x12 "Macho" paper then added a strip of the washi tape on the top and the bottom of the page.

I have then used 2 sheets from the 6x8 paper pack to use as photo mats then distressed the edges of the mats and the photographs. Using the Die cut and Laser cut pieces I have made a cluster at the top of the page hanging from chains and added the title "My Little Man".

At the left hand side of the photos I have made another cluster this time using the cactus plants layered over each other to form the look of a planter box.

The two die cuts I have used like wavy roads were white around the edges, I just used a pen and coloured the edges to fit into the layout better.

I just had to use the "Prince Charming" Die Cut, again I have coloured the white edges with a pen then added an arrow over the top using foam tape for dimension, then added more laser cuts to form another cluster.

The Frame I have used is from the Die cut set as well as the background paper, then I have added Laser cuts like the chain adding dimension by rolling the paper.

To finish off my layout I have added Rub on Transfers around the page with some of the epoxy wishing bubbles.

I wish everyone a wonderful break and hope you get some awesome scrapping time.

See you again in 2025 with some more spectacular ranges from 49 and Market.

Wonderful World Flip Album - 49 and Market Birdsong

Hello everyone

Today I am sharing a little Mini flip album I have created using the Create-An-Album 6x8 Waterfall Enclosure - White. These can be added to any of the 49 and Market albums or like below as a stand alone project.

I have used the Birdsong 6x8 paper pack and started by adding the papers to the Waterfall enclose pages.

I have then cut the washi sheet into strips and added them in the spine folds. Then gone through and attached all of my photos of my amazing grand children together.

I have then added ephemera pieces, laser cuts and chipboard mix pieces.
After all of the decorating I went back and added Element rub on transfers.

Thank you for joining me today
If you head over to Instagram you can see a "story" of the whole album.

Family - 49 and Market Cottagecore

Hello and welcome to the blog, today I am sharing my second layout using the NEW Cottagecore range by Denis Bruton. My beautiful little grand daughter loves taking selfies together so what better way than to scrapbook them with this super cute range.

The base page of my layout is from the Color Swatch Terracotta range then I have added the 12x12 Cottagecore Remember paper which I have trimmed to 11.5 x 11.5 to make a border.

I have then used some of the frames from the Die Cut set and framed our photos. I have then added a little circle and quote in the middle with added little butterflies.

Using the Cottage core laser cuts I have added the picket fence and made a cute little cluster by layering the Pillar, clock and wicker chair then added two cute little pots.

On the right hand side I have used two of the garden boxes full of flowers and layered them adding some of the chickens, herbs and garden utensils.

Using one of the double doors  I have added a piece of ephemera die cuts behind the windows then cut it in half and used one part on each side of the photo clusters. Finishing touches to my layout are the hanging plants with some added rub ons and epoxy stickers.

Rainbow Cake - 49 and Market Cottage Core

Hello and welcome to the blog, today I have this super cute layout of my gorgeous Grand son that for his fourth birthday wanted a "Rainbow Cake" made of lots of colours. What better way to scrapbook this memory than with the NEW Cottage Core collection from Dennis Bruton !

I have started with the 12x12 Memories Paper and instead of cutting the barcode strip off I have left it on as I liked the the saying along the bottom and trimmed the top of the page off to make it 12x12 instead.

I had lots of photos from making the cake which I wanted to include in my layout, but they were of course very bright and colourful being all rainbow colours. So that I could include my photos but have just the one photo on the front I have used the 49 and Market 6x4 Insta Flip Pocket sleeves.

When I have layered the sleeves on top of each other I have used some of the packaging and a paper punch to make a notebook edge then added the "memories to treasure and keep" quote from the die cut pack.

TIP - When you put this into your album just cut around the top of the sleeve so you can still flip the photos over.

I have used the Kitchen Edition of Laser cuts mixed with the Cottage Core Laser cuts and Die cuts layered and adding some garden elements in the background of the window. Rub ons have been placed around with the layout with coffee stains and my favourite saying
"We didn't realize we were making memories, We just knew we were having fun"

Instead of writing out the recipe for the cake I have used one of the recipe cards as a journaling spot at the end of all the photo flips.

The title of the layout of course had to be "Rainbow Cake" which I have used the Alphabet Rub Ons  called Swooshy. I have then added a little bit of washi tape on the edges and then some of the Epoxy wishing bubbles and bauble stars.

Hope you have enjoyed my layout today and I have inspired you to create your own, even giving the photo flips a try as well.

Precious - 49 and Market Birdsong

Hello and welcome to my layout on the blog today which is a bittersweet tribute to a cherished bond. A photograph that captures a beaming Sister arm-in-arm with my proud brother at my wedding 20 years ago. I miss him everyday and photos of him, us, family are ever so precious and a reminder of love's enduring power.

The Birdsong collection had the amazing colours and hues to use with this photo.
I have started with the "Songs of Hope" 12x12 paper and used the 6x8 papers to make a double photo mat.

Adding lots of layers with the Ephemera pieces with the tickets, files, large printed sheets and tags.

I then moved onto the Blendable rub on transfers and added the Coral colour into the page background.
Laser cut Essentials and Wildflowers have both been used to create different clusters.

Essential Rub on transfers have been added like the Dark blue butterfly and music notes around the corner.

Final touches to my page is the Chipboard mix word "Precious" and then some white splatters to add highlights around the layout.

Thank you for joining me today, remember to take those photos AND be in them yourself as well!
